What it does
Fewer tokens in every request
Every request to an AI provider is measured in tokens, and every token costs money. Many requests repeat the same instructions and the same definitions over and over. AISaver handles this repetition before the request goes out.
Tool-definition compression
Apps and AI agents send a long description of the tools they can use with every request. AISaver shortens these descriptions so every request is smaller.
Runs on your side, no code changes
AISaver runs as a local proxy on the computer. Your apps keep working as they are, and requests pass through it on the way to the provider.

How to get started
Installation takes a few minutes. This is what the AISaver website says:
- Download the Windows installer (about 4MB) from the download page.
- Extract the ZIP file and run the installer.
- Run AISaver. On first launch, choose a 14-day trial with no credit card, or a subscription.
If you run into an installation problem, the site has a access check page by user ID.

For businesses and development teams that pay OpenAI or Anthropic by usage, especially developers working with Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or OpenCode on Windows computers. The more requests repeat the same instructions and tools, the more there is to save.

Do I need to change my app's code?
According to AISaver, no. It runs as a local proxy, and requests pass through it on the way to the AI provider.
Which operating system does it run on?
AISaver is currently tested on Windows. It is written in C++, so it can be adapted for Mac and Linux too, but those versions have not been tested yet.
How much does it cost to try?
There is a 14-day trial, no credit card required. After that, the subscription costs $22 per user per year and is purchased inside the app.
Which providers and tools does it work with?
With OpenAI and Anthropic, and in the developer tools Claude Code (desktop and CLI), Cursor, VS Code and OpenCode. It works both when you sign in with a subscription and when you use an API key.
